The Gryphon C-40 CR Diamond Band Saw - Corrosion Resistant (aka AquaSaw), is the latest band saw from Gryphon Corporation. This is the company that invented the whole concept of cutting glass with a band saw over thirty years ago. This new saw has been modified for corrosion resistance, especially for use with salt water while cutting coral or similar material. Additional stainless steel parts and added shielding reduce corrosion and extend the life of the saw. This saw is supplied with one stainless steel 37" long diamond coated blade - safe for marine organisms. Makes fragging corals a snap! Simple construction with few moving parts. High Speed Motor for fastest cutting available. Direct drive = no belts or pulleys. Powerful motor located on top, away from the water. Huge water reservoir under the work surface.
